Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for Poops & Foods

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This policy applies to “consumer health data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and describes how Poops & Foods, published by Innerbloom Network LLC, handles it. It also serves Nevada residents under Nevada SB 370.

Categories of consumer health data collected, and the purpose

The Poops & Foods app lets you record the following on your device: meals and the foods in them; bowel movement entries using the Bristol Stool Scale, including roughly how much; and optional symptom entries covering urgency, straining, pain, gas and a yes/no for blood. These entries may qualify as consumer health data because they relate to bodily functions. They are recorded solely so the app can show you your own logs and patterns on your device. Innerbloom Network LLC does not collect your entries — no individual entry is ever transmitted off your device to us.

One optional exception, and it is off unless you turn it on. In Preferences you can choose to share anonymous usage data with us. If you do, the app sends a daily total derived from these entries — how many entries you logged, how many carried each Bristol type, how many carried each symptom level — for the sole purpose of improving the app. It carries no name, no email address, no account, no contact detail, no location, no device identifier and nothing you typed, and it is not linked to you. We consider it de-identified, and we publicly commit to maintaining it in that form, to making no attempt to re-identify it, and to requiring the same of any service provider who processes it on our behalf.

Our full Privacy Policy sets out exactly what that daily total contains and what it never contains.

Categories of sources

The data comes only from what you enter into the app on your own device.

How the collection is consented to

Recording entries on your own device is not collection by us. For the optional anonymous usage data, the app presents a screen listing what would be sent and what would never be sent, and collects nothing at all — it does not even count anything on your device — until you tap to accept. Dismissing that screen is a refusal. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in Preferences → Usage data, which stops the collection and deletes what we hold.

Categories of consumer health data shared

None. We do not share consumer health data with anyone.

Categories of third parties and specific affiliates with whom data is shared

None. There are no third parties and no affiliates with whom we share this data.

We use one service provider, Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts and processes the anonymous usage data on our behalf and under contract. A service provider processing data on our instructions is not a sale and not a share, and Cloudflare is not permitted to use it for any purpose of its own.

How to exercise your rights

Your entries stay on your device and we hold no copy of them, so you exercise your rights over those directly in the app: view, edit, export or delete any entry, or delete all of it by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling.

Washington and Nevada residents have the right to access this data, to have it deleted, and to withdraw consent to its collection. For your entries you do all of that on your own device. For the optional anonymous usage data, switching the setting off in Preferences → Usage data withdraws consent, stops the collection and deletes the daily totals filed under your copy of the app. Because that data carries no identifier of you, we cannot search it by name or email — if you would rather we deleted it for you, email us with the random number shown in Preferences.

Combined figures that no longer describe any individual copy of the app cannot be unwound, and we say so rather than implying a deletion that reaches further than it can.

To make any request, email support@innerbloomnetwork.com; we will respond within 45 days, extendable by a further 45 days where permitted. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to that decision, and we will respond to an appeal within 45 days.

Sharing and sale

We do not share consumer health data, and we do not and will not sell it. We do not use it for advertising of any kind, and we do not profile anybody with it.

Changes

If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
